What exactly are UV Nail Wraps?

Before we start with the application, let's briefly look at what UV nail wraps actually are.
UV nail wraps are ultra-thin, flexible films with a UV-reactive layer. Unlike normal nail wraps, they are cured with a UV lamp, which makes them particularly durable and resilient. This makes them look almost like a professional gel manicure from the salon – but you can apply them conveniently at home.

What you need for your first UV Nail Wrap Manicure

To get started right away, you should have the following tools ready:

• Cuticle pusher or rosewood stick
• UV polish sealing lacquer (Top Coat) for a perfect finish

Step-by-step guide: How to correctly apply MANIFIX UV Nail Wraps

Here we go! Here's the step-by-step guide for your perfect result. 1. Prepare your nails Good preparation is the key to long-lasting results. • File your nails into shape. • Gently push back your cuticles. • Degrease your nails with a nail cleaner or alcohol wipe. 2. Select and adjust UV nail wrap Choose the right size wrap for each nail. If it's a little too small, stretch the UV nail wrap slightly into shape so it fits your nail well. 3. Apply the wrap Carefully apply the UV nail wrap to the nail. Press it firmly from the center outwards to avoid bubbles and wrinkles. 4. Remove excess wrap Method 1: Gently file off the excess edge of the wrap with a file. Important: Always file in one direction to prevent tearing. Method 2: Cure the wraps under the UV lamp and only then trim them with nail clippers. Afterwards, file them into shape. 5. Cure under the UV lamp Now for the magic: Cure your nails under the UV lamp for 60 seconds. After that, the wrap is firmly attached to the nail. 6. Seal with UV Top Coat For extra shine and durability, apply a thin layer of UV polish and cure again for 60 seconds under the UV lamp. Done – and your nails look like they've just come from the salon!

How to care for your nails after application

Even though UV nail wraps are particularly gentle on nails, your nails appreciate care. Regularly use nail oil and a moisturizing hand cream. For removing the wraps, remover oil is suitable, as it gently dissolves the wrap without damaging your natural nail.
