Myth 1: Nails need to "breathe"

False!
Nails consist of keratinized cells – they have no pores and therefore cannot breathe. What nails do need, however, is care and protection from dehydration.

Myth 2: Nail wraps or gel destroy the natural nail

Partially false.
The foil itself is not the problem – improper removal is.

If UV foils are simply torn off or removed too harshly, the upper keratin layers can be removed with them.

The solution: Gently remove foils with oil or warmth and then apply nail oil.
This way, the natural nail remains intact and healthy.

Myth 3: Expensive nail products are always better
